First of all the Executive MBA program gave me a systemic perspective and an overall view about the multiple aspects of an organization, making me aware of several aspects I was approaching intuitively. Then I had the amazing opportunity to interact and exchange knowledge with managers and entrepreneurs working in various industries but dealing with similar issues. I could create my own referral framework useful for my area of business. Last but not least program reputation on the market added to my visibility within the organization.

Cornel Oprisan is the retail manager at IKEA Romania since 2007, when he was offered the chance to lead the company’s first steps on the Romanian market. He was, therefore, the new division’s first employee, and can be credited for setting up a professional and efficient team and for coming up with a business strategy that spoke to the peculiarities of the Romanian environment.
It is due mentioning that Mr. Oprisan started his career back in 1990, when he accepted the position of researcher at the Army Institute of Research. It was that very year that he graduated from the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology from the Polytechnic University of Bucharest.
In accordance with an expanding pallet of interests, Cornel Oprisan took on a part time job as an engineer at Alltrom, or what was to become JVC Romania. In 1993 as a consequence of his promotion to service director within Alltrom, Mr. Oprisan decided to dedicate his full concentration towards this new avenue. In 1995 he became the technical director at JVC Romania and in 1996, the general manager for the same company.
Cornel Oprisan graduated in 2004 the EMBA program organized by ASEBUSS.
