The ASEBUSS approach

Why the ASEBUSS Executive MBA Program? National and international accreditation as well as national rankings by Ziarul Financiar confirm the quality and value of our program.

ASEBUSS has designed the Executive MBA Program to reflect important trends in management education. It incorporates those areas that business leaders tell us are essential for future managerial success. These include:

Teamwork - The successful manager must be able to work effectively with others. Teamwork is an integral part of our EMBA curriculum. It is facilitated by class size, study groups, group projects, and the development and improvement of interpersonal skills.

Integration - Because EMBA Program participants bring a wide variety of skills and experience into the program, students learn to view problems broadly, rather than relating them to a single function or industry. The final Dissertation Paper requires the application of this broad knowledge and skills to a topic chosen by  each participant and related to a business situation in the company.

Communication Skills - The successful manager must have strong verbal and written communication skills. Special sessions that encompass these skills are included in the curriculum and all students can practice it during the Residence Sessions. In addition, oral and written projects are featured in all disciplines throughout the EMBA Program.

The Global Economy - Every aspect of the curriculum emphasizes that we are now part of a global economy. Special consideration is focused on this concept through the Global Strategic Management course as well as the International project where Romanians meet their American colleagues and work on joint business projects.  An International residency takes place in the second year when all Romanian students go in Atlanta for a study trip.

Efficient Decision- Making Process – Throughout the program, participants analyze about 100 case studies from US and Europe, including Romania. They debate various management decisions applicable in the situations under discussion, explore the impact of real decisions taken at a certain moment, and analyze advantages and minuses filtered though the participants’ collective experience.

Technology - Program participants learn to put technology to work through the use of laptop computers and integrated software that is used for quantitative data analysis, as well as videoconferencing facilities. Communication between participants and faculty is expanded by integrating SharePoint capabilities.
